Hub Firmware 2.2 (2.2.111) – Important Information

Summary

Hub 2.2 (2.2.111) is a major security update and is required as the basis for future features. It removes also Stratodesk (NoTouch Center Management) and makes the Hub version visible in the ezeep Portal.

Detailed instructions for downloading and installing the firmware can be found here:
Downloading and Installing a Firmware Update

This guide explains how to:

  • Download the latest firmware package valid for 7 days only. (Always download a fresh package before updating)

  • Upload and install it via the Hub web console

  • Verify the update afterwards

Prerequisites

  • Current Hub firmware: 1.19.24

  • Device purchased 2020 or later

  • Active internet connection via DHCP during update

  • Update duration: 30–60 minutes

How to Check if Your Hub is Eligible

The easiest way to check directly on the Hub:

  • Update possible: Only one LED is lit (green or yellow)

  • Update not possible: Both LEDs (green + yellow) lit at the same time

The LED color itself does not matter – only whether one or both LEDs are on.
