How users will be activated?

  • Two modes are available for activating users, i. e. assigning licenses to user accounts:
    • automatic user activation (default)
    • manual user activation
  • With automatic user activation the licenses are assigned to users when they receive a printer via Auto­Connect the first time or with their first printing. Even in this mode it’s possible to – additionally – acti­vate users manually.
  • Assigning licenses to user (groups) can be done with scripts or using License Server’s Management Con­sole: Access user configuration
