- Only use the ThinPrint Hub as described in this documentation and according to its intended use. Any improper use, including without being limited hereto, the opening of the casing, expires any and all warranties.
- Install the ThinPrint Hub within easy reach of a wall outlet.
- Be sure to turn off and remove the power supply unit from the wall outlet before connecting or disconnecting any interface cable to the ThinPrint Hub. When unplugging the cable, always pull on the plug and not on the cable itself.
- Use shielded and properly grounded interface cables to prevent radio frequency interference.
- Protect the ThinPrint Hub during thunderstorms by turning it off and disconnecting the power supply unit.
- Do not use the ThinPrint Hub near water. Never spill liquid of any kind on the ThinPrint Hub or its power supply. The setup location must not be subject to extreme heat, cold, humidity, or dust. Heat and cold can impair the functionality of the ThinPrint Hub; humidity and dust can cause the ThinPrint Hub to fail.
- The operating temperature range is: 0–40 °C (32–104 °F).
- Do not open the power supply. There is a danger of electric shock!
- Do not cover the ThinPrint Hub, as this can cause it to overheat.
- Never place the device in the bright sun or over a radiator, near a heater, a heating grid or heat register or another heat source, as this can cause it to overheat.
- The ThinPrint Hub should not be operated in an enclosed space (e.g. cabinet, shelving), unless proper ventilation is provided.
- Ensure the voltage and frequency of the power supply matches your local standard. For details, see Input on the power supply’s model plate.
- Do not operate the ThinPrint Hub on any mobile unit or other unstable surface, where it may fall and be damaged.
- Do not place any item on the fixed USB power cord, or locate the ThinPrint Hub where the fixed USB power cord can be stepped on.
- Unless otherwise stated in this documentation, do not attempt to service the ThinPrint Hub or the power supply yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Do not make any modifications to the ThinPrint Hub which could cause radio frequency interference.
- Maintain the ThinPrint Hub in a satisfactory state of repair.
- If any of the following conditions occur, unplug the power supply from the wall outlet and refer to qualified service personnel:
- If the fixed power cord is frayed, or the power supply is damaged in any way.
- If liquid has been spilled on the ThinPrint Hub or on the power supply.
- If the ThinPrint Hub or the power supply has been exposed to rain or water.
- If the ThinPrint Hub or the power supply does not operate normally when the operating instructions are followed.
- If the ThinPrint Hub or the power supply has been dropped or the casing has been damaged.
- Turn off power before cleaning. Only use a dry soft cloth to clean the case. Do not use aggressive polishes or cleaning agents.
