Saving account information in a report
The Licenses tab in the TPDU console displays both locally installed license keys, as well as those that are installed on the ThinPrint license server – provided the license server address is specified in one of the installed ThinPrint components. The Licenses tab only appears if a license server is specified locally, or if a license key is installed.
The page is divided into two sections:
- ThinPrint License Server
- License usage
- with the submenu ThinPrint Users
(which you call up with the Show Users button)
Administrator permissions
If the TPDU was not started with local administrator rights, then you have the option to add them here.

ThinPrint License Server
A table displays all the license keys installed on the local computer plus, from ThinPrint version 10.0, those installed on the ThinPrint license server1, that have their address specified in one of the locally installed ThinPrint components. The license keys are sorted here according to product and by the location of the installation, e. g. Personal Printing (on Localhost).
You can also see whether the license server is accessible and when the last synchronization between the ThinPrint component and the license server took place. You can use the Sync with License Server Now button to start the synchronization immediately.

Note! To display the users from the license server, you need to be using a domain account that allows you to configure the license server. Generally, this is not the domain administrator, but a normal domain user who is member of the local ThinPrint Configuration Admins group on the license server.
